Architects
An Essex based Architectural firm,
with their main offices in Southend
with several remote offices throughout
the country, needed a solid central
system accessible from their remote
offices to enable workers in the remote
and central offices to work together
as seamlessly as possible and able
to safely backup the data from all
the remote sites.
We provided them with a Microsoft
Small Business Server system, a reliable,
secure and robust system which provides
email, file sharing, backup and remote
access services to users in all their
offices. Coupled with a fast and reliable
internet service, with remote network
monitoring from CheckiD Systems, all
their employees can work with the
same data, no matter which office
or client site they may be.
And as the architects are continually
growing, with more and more remote
sites popping up around the country,
the Small Business Server system has
grown with them, able to add new servers
and features to their network as they
are required.

Publishers
A
publishing firm based in
London with around 25 employees,
using both Apple Macintosh
and PC based machines, came
to us with concerns that
their backups were not up
to scratch and that their
data was not as safe as
it should be. After an initial
consulation and inspection
of their network we found
that most of thier data
was saved onto each users
individual machines. We
reccomended bringing the
data from the Apple Macs
and the PCs together onto
a central storage location.
This provided several significant
benefits.
